I had such a lovely two-night stay here. You can really tell the staff takes pride in caring for both the hotel and the property. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout my visit. My king room was cozy, spotless, and beautifully comfortable. The coffee was genuinely delicious. The fireplace being on all the time gave the whole place a warm, lodge vibe. I also really enjoyed sitting outside my room at the little table connected to it. Such a peaceful touch. I’d happily stay here again.

We had a really great stay at Sierra Sky Ranch! The overall experience was wonderful—the air is incredibly fresh and crisp, a huge contrast to city life, and it felt so refreshing to breathe it in every day.The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great recommendations. Our room had a lovely window that opened right up to beautiful views, and we could watch birds flying around and perching nearby. Occasionally one would even tap on the window curiously! At first it surprised us, but honestly, after so much time in the city, this kind of close encounter with nature felt delightful and special—it really added to the charm of being surrounded by the Sierra scenery.Perfect spot as a relaxing stop before or after Yosemite (super convenient location too). Highly recommend for anyone seeking peace, clean air, and a touch of wildlife magic. We'd definitely return!Overall, I'd give it a solid 9/10. Thanks for a memorable stay!

We were absolutely in love with this place. The hotel is incredibly cozy, very clean, and feels truly welcoming. The staff was amazing — friendly, kind, and always ready to help. I celebrated my birthday during our stay, and they kindly allowed us to gather with friends in their beautiful, cozy library, which made the day extra special and memorable. The location is perfect, right next to Yosemite National Park, and each room has its own small veranda, which adds so much charm and comfort to the stay. We truly enjoyed every moment here and would definitely love to come back!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a beautiful location and not too far from town. A great place to stay if you’re heading up to Yosemite as well. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is also some great shared spaces as well that invite you in and make it nice to stay around. Overall would recommend as a great place to stay.

Super cute and cozy boutique hotel. My kids loved it and it was super clean! Loved that every room has a balcony. Front desk was very friendly and helped us get accommodated. Just wished they had a mini fridge in the room to store the kids drinks. We definitely will be back for the summer.

Excellent location across from Yosemite National Park. Very friendly welcome. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. The breakfast was tasty but not extensive. Restaurants were only a 5-minute drive away.

A Truly Magical and Cozy Getaway!🤗 My wife ad I just had the most wonderful stay at Sierra Sky Ranch! From the moment we arrived, the entire property felt so warm and inviting. Our room was super cozy—it was the perfect place to relax. I absolutely loved looking out the window; the views of the wildlife were so tranquil and really helped us disconnect and unwind. At night, the view of the stars was absolutely amazing! 🌌 It was breathtaking to see the sky so clear. A huge thank you to the incredible staff who made our visit special. Derek was so helpful and generous during the check-in process, making sure we had everything we needed. We also loved meeting Marlo, who was super friendly and greeted us with such an amazing smile every time we saw her. Thank you so much to everyone at Sierra Sky Ranch for making our stay amazing. We can't wait to visit again!

Stunning lodge hotel. Extremely comfortable hotel lobby/lounge with wood-burning fire, grand piano, deep sofas and elegant chairs. Felt like being in upmarket Aspen. Very good rooms and service. The continental breakfast included is very welcome, but basic, and an optional cooked menu would be good. May have been pared back due to visiting off-season.

I can’t say enough about Sky Ranch. The whole hotel is cozy and really embraced the mountain feel. We immediately felt at home walking in. Check in was smooth and very easy to find your room. Marlo, Devan, and the gentleman on the morning shift were absolutely amazing and treat you as if they’ve known you forever. Everything is spotless and the rooms smelled of clean linens. The rooms have cute patios attached and the room feels as if you’re in your own home. You can hear everything through the walls but honestly it wasn’t a deal breaker. They also have a fire pit where we sat out with other guest and roasted marshmallows and talked for a few. They also sell smores to roast at the fire pit. You also have a beautiful view of the sky with so many shooting stars. We look forward to coming back with our family this Spring!

One of the best hotel experiences I've had anywhere in the world. The cozy ranch style hotel at the beginning of a cold December was perfect. The rooms were cozy and had a balcony overlooking nature. The staff were incredibly welcoming and continued to offer their services, whatever that may be, throughout my stay. Including, on arrival, recommendations of local restaurants and attraction without even being asked. Only a short drive to the southern entrance to Yosemite, a perfect stay in a perfect location. Would highly recommend this accomodation.

Sierra Sky Ranch is a beautiful place with gracious and helpful staff that made us feel at home! We stayed here for a family wedding that was at the same location and all the staff members made it a beautiful and memorable weekend for me and my family. The room was wonderful (Double Queen 2 room suite) for our family with 3 pre-teen kids and 2 adults. Breakfast was a great addition and the common spaces were so fantastic, they kept my kids entertained all weekend. I can't wait to visit this gorgeous place again!

We really loved our stay here. The hotel is super charming — cozy, warm, and uniquely decorated with lots of cute details. You can tell everything was done with care. The common areas are so inviting, and we loved the lovely front yard with the fire pit. Our room was very clean, and the king bed was incredibly comfy. We had a room facing the back with a small private porch, which made it extra peaceful. I did notice a few small spiderwebs here and there (no spiders, thankfully!), but it was a really minor issue — I only picked up on it because I have a bit of arachnophobia. Breakfast was totally fine (I honestly don’t get the negative comments — it was enough for us), and the staff were all super nice and friendly. Overall, we were really happy with our stay and would definitely come back. The only downside is that, even though it’s been recently renovated, the walls aren’t very soundproof — if you’re on the lower floor, you can hear footsteps amd conversations from above. So just a heads-up, and if you’re on the top floor, please be kind to the guests below :) Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Yosemite.

We stayed at Sierra Sky Ranch from August 19–24, 2025, and overall, we actually liked the hotel — it’s a charming place in a beautiful setting near Yosemite, with a peaceful atmosphere and nice rooms. Because we enjoyed our stay, we decided to extend it directly with the hotel (for August 25–26) instead of using Booking.com, thinking we were doing something kind to help them avoid the booking commission. Unfortunately, this decision turned into a very disappointing experience. When extending the stay at the front desk, I was quoted a single nightly rate verbally, which I accepted. However, I was later charged a significantly higher total, and was told there were two different nightly rates and that the price did not include taxes — none of which was ever clearly explained. I also received no written confirmation and was never asked to sign anything. In addition, staff gave contradictory information about availability: one employee told me it wasn’t possible to extend further, while at the same time rooms were available online through Booking.com. The main issue, however, has been the $100 security deposit charged for the direct booking. The hotel repeatedly told me it was “just a hold” that would automatically drop off, but more than six weeks later, the money has still not been returned. On October 2nd, the hotel even sent me an email claiming the hold was released and attached documents as “proof.” Yet the refund never reached my account, and my bank has confirmed there is absolutely no issue on their end. To be fair, the hotel itself is nice, and we did enjoy our stay — but the management and billing transparency were deeply disappointing, and the breakfast was quite poor and could be significantly improved (limited options, low quality compared to the price). What started as a pleasant stay turned into a frustrating experience due to unclear communication, pricing confusion, and a deposit that remains unresolved. If you visit, book only through trusted platforms like Booking.com, and avoid direct bookings to protect yourself from similar problems.

Beautiful hotel!! Staff is very helpful and fabulous!! Our room had incredible furniture, so classy!! I have been all over Europe and this is my favorite hotel!!!
