Had a lovely weekend getaway at this lovely ranch at the foot of the Yosemite National Park. It was a great location fully immersed in nature (friendly wildlife sightings included) as well as being close to many stores and nearby restaurants. A beautiful scenic drive straight into the park. The hotel was exactly the Fall vibes we needed and the weather was even warm enough to checkout the pool the first day. Loved the outdoor fire pit and provided smores kit. We stayed in the guest house in a nice King bedroom that had its own private porch to drink coffee from in the morning. Overall a great stay and will recommend this place to anyone who plans to visit the Park.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sierra Sky Ranch! Such a beautiful, peaceful property with so much charm and character. The perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Yosemite, with such easy access to the park. We had the best time and would definitely recommend staying here!

A welcoming and pleasant place to stay when visiting Yosemite NP or the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway. The property was very nice, the breakfast delicious and the room clean and comfortable...but the staff, including the check-in desk, room maintenance and Kayli at breakfast were EXCEPTIONAL! Highly recommended.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely perfect place to stay, especially for couples! ❤️ We absolutely loved everything about Sierra Sky Ranch! The beautiful wooden lodge is stunning, with a warm, cozy atmosphere and incredible attention to every little detail. Everything is spotless, beautifully decorated, and so well maintained. The location is fantastic! You're surrounded by nature, yet it's very easy to reach, with a large gravel parking area right next to the property, even for bigger cars. It's only about a 30-minute drive to the entrance of Yosemite National Park, making it a perfect base for exploring the park the next morning. There are also large supermarkets, restaurants, and other conveniences just about 10 minutes away. The hospitality was wonderful, especially the warm welcome from Mark! We loved the delicious and generous breakfast, the incredibly comfortable bed, the cozy evening by the fire, and even the deer that came to visit us! 🦌 There's also complimentary cold water, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available 24/7 in the main lobby, along with an ice machine. One thing worth knowing is that there's no refrigerator or coffee machine in the rooms, so it's better not to bring groceries that require refrigeration. We were also celebrating our engagement, and the staff surprised us with a lovely bottle of wine and snacks in our room. Such a thoughtful gesture that truly warmed our hearts! ❤️ This place offers the perfect combination of being immersed in nature while enjoying comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful hospitality. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely love to return! **Highly recommended, especially for couples visiting Yosemite!**

We stayed here while we were visiting Yosemite National Park. This place is charming and very comfortable. The rooms and common spaces are very clean. The staff is friendly and polite. The location to the park is good. There is a nice outdoor pool, and we enjoyed a bonfire each night - and s’mores were available, but we were disappointed that there was no restaurant or bar on the premises. All the information we checked stated that there was a restaurant and bar, but apparently they’ve been closed for about two years. A continental breakfast was served every morning, and it was good. However, advertising a restaurant and bar is misleading:

Great location for Yosemite. All the staff were very helpful. Microwave available in the lobby to use and staff gave us bowls and forks to use for our takeout. We stayed in the Guesthouse and would highly recommend. Walls are thin, but to be expected in an older building. We loved the cozy rustic atmosphere.

Great location if you are visiting Yosemite. Peaceful Hotel with all amenities. The beds are excellent, as is the breakfast. The staff is accommodating and tries to satisfy your needs as much as possible. Any recommendation.

The hotel was very accommodating and beautiful. It's history was felt in It's design, however it's modern amenities made it feel new!

The room was perfect clean The place is gorgeous, the way is decorate make you feel like in a Yellowstone movie. Every employee was so friendly and professional. Love this place and I will definitely make plans to come back in

Not for foreigners. The deposit is only returned after 14 business days. Does it seriously take that long to inspect a room? How many guests are going to stay there in the meantime? If you're on a trip and change hotels frequently, you'll have a bunch of useless dollars sitting in your account once you're back home.

Loved it!! Friendly staff. Great vibes to relax on the lobby area which includes board games, piano, among other things. Breakfast had granola which was so yummy. Property is so pretty and perfectly located for people visiting Yosemite. Everything on the complimentary breakfast were served cold, even boiled eggs. And there was no actual cooked meal like bacon or sausage which you expect on a regular breakfast. The pullout couch-bed on the queen suite was not very comfortable as it formed a curve near the center.

Great location close to Yosemite, Bass Lake and Oakhirst. No food service but the do provide a limited cont. breakfast. Very friendly and acommodating staff.

Lovely location very beautiful ranch. However, the beds are so soft, both me and my partner woke up with really bad backs. The walls are paper thin and the people in the next room you could hear them all throughout the night banging doors closing drawers and talking . So didn’t really get much sleep. I always like to give hotels on checkout feedback whether it’s positive or negative. I spoke to them and mentioned it. I got no reaction whatsoever. They was not interested at all, basically ignored me. It’s such a shame as it is a really nice location. Would not stay here again.. REPLYING TO HOTEL RESPONSE. Hi Adam, this is actually not true! Both me and my partner stood in front of you and you spent the whole entire time looking at your computer!! The only response we got from you was “yes you can check out here” And then you didn’t acknowledge us. As a manager, you need to take accountability! Please ensure that you take my feedback on board and learn from this because it wasn’t a nice experience. And going forward, you won’t treat anybody else like this..

Friendly staff, poor management. Our keycard didn’t work and we had to be asked to be let into our room many times during our stay due to batteries being dead on the locks. The rugs in the room were gross and worn. The floor in bathroom was warped. The drain in shower was gross and broken. The breakfast milk was spoiled. They were out of coffee. The choices were basically yogurt, cereal or oatmeal.

It is a place designed for stopping and resting either after or before a journey. It offers good value for money and feels like a cozy, pleasant spot to relax.
